WHAT IS EL MÓLÍ PETIT CHILDREN'S HOME?
The El Molí Petit Municipal Children's Home is managed by the Sant Joan de les Abadesses City Council. It is a center for the education of children from 4 months to 3 years.
The school aims for children to fully enjoy their childhood in an environment of physical and psychological safety, rich in sensations and stimuli. Everything is designed for the attention of the little ones, the close relationship with the educator, the limited number of children per group and the activities that are proposed. The aim is to work to introduce children to personal autonomy and respect and solidarity towards others. Active children, capable of experimenting, expressing themselves, loving and being happy, in a stimulating environment of trust, joy and serenity.
The school has a team that works to offer a quality educational project. The school for the little ones is the first step in the education system, and we welcome children from the first months of life up to the age of three.
We define ourselves as a public, Catalan, secular, inclusive and active school. We believe that children have the right to a quality education from the moment they are born, in a warm, affectionate environment that meets their needs.
Our school offers them the possibility to relate to other children, to share games, fantasies, experiences and learning, which will help them build their personality, to make it possible to understand the world around them and be able to Act
This exciting path, which we live with the children, does not make much sense if we do not share it with the families, who are the point of reference for the children.
The child arrives at school with his little story that we welcome.
From the school we want to raise awareness of the importance of respect for the child's inner world. It is not a miniature of the adult, it is a being with its own entity.
Our task, with children, is to provide the right conditions, so that they can progress and develop as a person
